The Artist
Marcel Reich is an independent, distinctive artist and painter from Switzerland. He explores the existential conditions of the human soul, such as loneliness, fear, pain, desire, love, and hatred. His expressive, often dark artworks are a critical examination of contemporary society and its political, cultural, and technological developments.
Reich's representational, large-format paintings could best be described as a fusion of dark dystopian surrealism and expressionism. He uses a wide range of painting techniques, including oil pastels, watercolors, ink, acrylics, and oil on canvas. All his artworks are non-digital and there’s absolutely no AI involved.
